I knew the author, Brent Curtis, personally and can tell you that this book was a labor of love from his own journey, from his own quest to draw closer to God. There is nothing like reading a book that comes from someone who has walked his talk. You will need to approach the reading of this book with a heart that is hoping to see a glimpse of the heart of God. Keep your personal theological persuasions at bay and look for the wonderful nuggets as you read and savour.

Journey of Desire

This book is a sequel to Sacred Romance - one that John and Brent had planned on writing together. I cried healing, wonderful tears as I read the early chapters of this book. Desire is a GOOD thing, straight from the heart of God into each of our lives. I tried to purchase multiple copies before Christmas and couldn't find it!! It was flying off of the shelves!!

What a beautifully written book! It is literary, inspiring, and practical.
This is not a Christian book but well worth the reading. The true stories of people's journeys, the insightful metaphors, the deep ponderings are very moving and thought provoking. I found myself savoring each page and doing a lot of reflecting as I read. I found that some of my most creative ideas sprang forth after some time with this book.
